Welcome to About MyWeek In Music

This website was originally a blog that was conducted for a year on MySpace. After it became popular I tried to make some changes on MySpace to make it look more like a newsletter or magazine page. The blog had the look that you can generally see on the new website here but when it was on MySpace the blog generator would change words, HTML tags and other things in the look of the page that made it impossible to upload there.

The solution was to take it off MySpace and build a site around it that better complemented the blog and also gave more information to people to find music around the San Diego area. The venues and the more popular music talent. On an everyday basis that musical talent grows and is put down in these pages. The blog which is now an article is published each week to give people an idea of what music is out there vicariously through me in order to entice people to come out and enjoy the music themselves. LIVE music is the best way to enjoy yourself and most of the time it is Free or just a small cover fee.

The purpose of this site is not about criticizing or critiquing any CD, Artist, Musician, Promoter or anyone else in the music industry. All opinions are my own or in the future will belong to other writers who write for the magazine. All rights reserved. The site is only to provide info for the music scene and to promote it. No Artist or Musician is affiliated with this publication and therefore is not liable for any problems you may have with the site.

Please Enjoy the site as many others do on a daily basis.

Scott Zensen
Editor, blogger, photographer, writer, webmaster. In fact if your looking for a hat that shows who is doing a particular thing on this site, they all belong to me.

I also would like to thank Doktor Dave Sawyer whose own website is at Musicjammers.com he helped me get MyWeek In Music up right away after I had problems with MySpace and needed to get it into its own website. Dave generously donated space there at Music Jammers.com and a sub-Domain for MyWeek In Music to continue unfettered and unconditionally. Thank you Doktor Dave for all your help!

You now find a name change and a new URL and domain for MyWeek In Music. We are now calling ourselves MyWeek Magazine and due to a large amount of growth as far as space was concerned and other concerns that were popping up, we now have lots of room to grow and we circumvented our problems with our not being able to get to the MusicJammers website due to a routing problem with a local ISP.

Here you'll find all kinds of info on the Local San Diego Music Scene. MyWeek In Music has previously been on MySpace exclusively but you can now find it here on its own webpage.

You may find it on other pages elsewhere on the net syndicated through RSS feed. Like The San Diego Troubadour Website and you may still find it on Myspace where it started. Blogging on MySpace was becoming more and more difficult to upload to the blog there! The only solution to becoming more consistant and be able to make quick updates to issues was to put it on its own site and syndicate it out.

On this site you will find a little more than was offered on myspace. Some features that were in the MySpace version have been incorporated differently here to bring you the best design and content available.
